Overview:
The strategic analysis for Cato Ridge considered numerous value generating opportunities, and combinations thereof, which were used to create potential futures for the Cato Ridge operations. Appropriate strategic responses were then formulated for these futures, which enabled management to make more informed decisions about the business.
Scope of Work:
In collaboration with FraserMcGill, the team delivered the following outcomes successfully:
Mapped the “as-is” value chain for the operations.
Performed a techno-financial evaluation of the key scenarios and improvement initiatives with the aim to improve profitability and extend the life of the operation.
Developed a dynamic ‘executive friendly’ business case model that contained all quantified scenarios.
Prioritised scenarios and identified areas for further investigation.
Assessed potential business, divisional and regional implications of selected scenarios.
Developed a roadmap for the implementation of possible futures for the operation.
